Taj Khyber Rowland has a unique perspective on the needs of orphaned children, having been on both sides of the fence. Kidnapped as a young child from his Village in India and sold to a Christian orphanage, Taj's American adoptive parents were shocked to learn he had a family there. A recent recipient of the Freedom Award, Taj has a story to share like nothing you have heard before. Author Camron Wright has masterfully chronicled the heart rending saga of Taj's life journey in the book "The Orphan Keeper". (see theorphankeeper.com) . The poet Maya Angelou insightfully remarked, "The ache for home lives in all of us," and so began the quest to find his home and his parents in India.

Today, Taj is a highly successful businessman creating computer platforms and ERP systems. His clients include major corporations such as Dell Computers, Kmart, Advanced Auto parts and many more. One of his greatest joys is being able to employ hundreds of workers at his software and systems facilities. He is in demand as a motivational speaker. And together with his beautiful wife, Priya, they have two daughters and split their time between their homes in India and Utah.
