Alan Osmond

Founder and Chairman of The Board

Being the oldest and leader of the performing Osmonds, Alan was active entertaining, producing, writing and recording music since 1962. The family got its start with Walt Disney and then Andy Williams. Collectively, they have sold 102 million records. Alan has performed around the world and worked with almost every big name in the entertainment business from Oprah Winfrey to doing command performances for the Queen of England and helping produce the Opening Inaugural Ceremonies for President Ronald Reagan.

Alan was the Executive Producer of the Donny and Marie TV Series with celebrity stars such as Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, Sid Caesar, Paul Lynn, Danny Thomas, Buddy Hackett, John Wayne, Ann Margaret, Tim Conway, Dick Van Dyke, Johnny Carson, Sonny and Cher, Andy Griffith, Lorne Green, Lucille Ball, George Burns, Jerry Lewis, Michael Landon, Farrah Fawcett, Ron Howard, Don Knotts, Kris Kristofferson, Raquel Welch, Betty White, Roy Rogers, Bob Hope and Chuck Norris, and and nearly ever major television and motion picture star of the day.

Alan and his wife Suzanne, were approached with the idea of expanding their Osmond Foundation to include a nation wide telethon to help all sick children. With their vision they got their Osmond Studios and their family's support in launching what is known today as The Children's Miracle Network having raised almost 6 Billion Dollars for Children's Hospitals in the U.S. and Canada. They have been involved in Charity work ever since.

Over 20 Years ago Alan and Suzanne had the desire to expand their charity work and established One Heart. As its founders, they are still active as partners and serve as Chairman of the board today. They are the parents of 8 sons known as The Osmond's Second Generation, with three of them still making their living as entertainers and the others now top business men.

Alan and Suzanne follow the creed of his late mother, Olive; " There is no limit to the good you can accomplish when you don't care who gets the credit"
